Yesterday, it was Hohan. Today, it's the Olsen twins (yeah, girls, your effort to be "individuals" and not part of a duo really worked).
- They have a tween targeted clothing line. Please enlighten me, girls, as to what it includes. Flowy skirts that sweep the floor? Leggings? Oversized cardigans? PS it appears as though it's sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. Even Hilary Duff was able to get Target to sell her wares.
- "The paparazzi-packed incident perfectly illustrates how tough it is for them to strike a balance between their private and public lives." Face it, folks. When you are a "star" you have no private life. That's the balance you have to strike.
- "We don't really like our photos being taken when we're not working." Um, working? Olsen twins? What? Have you done anything since the ill-fated New York Minute?
- "We couldn't be happier to be here [but] when you're being attacked after a 16-hour plane flight, that's not nice." Attacked? They're cameras, not guns. You are not going to die.
- "We just like big sunglasses. It's what looks good on our face." First of all, there are two of you, so you have faces not one face. Second of all, what mirrors are you looking into, anyway?
- "My sister and I don't look at ourselves as role models -- I think that's a huge responsibility. The best we can do is take care of ourselves and experience life for ourselves and not really let the outside world affect us." So, even though they know they are considered role models, they pretend they're not because it's too much responsibility? And, I don't think chain smoking and drinking Starbucks (and vomming) is "taking care of" yourselves.
- "Ashley and I, we don't get involved in it, I think we just like to listen to it. It's OK to hear about it as long as it's not me." So, you like to listen to gossip (as do we all), and you enjoy it. Just as long as it's not about you. Sweet.
They peaked with their rendition of "I am the cute one...she is my sister." Or, my favorite, "Brother for sale" (only fifty cents!).
Everyone, sing along.
