So CB and I convened at Starbucks this morning for a "business meeting."
Seriously, it was like we stepped into the 80s. No joke. We looked hip and trendy (as usual) but we were few and far between at this particular Starbucks on this particular morning. I mean, I thought I had driven in Jack to get there, not a DeLorean.
Among the sights we saw:
- The above (thank goodness for the camera phone and the ability to pretend to send a text message)--a Hard Rock Cafe brown leather bomber jacket (from Washington DC, not a "cool" location like Honolulu. I mean, this lady is presumably a local. It's like wearing a band tshirt to that band's concert. Don't be that girl.). You can't see that she also had a perm and was wearing tapered stonewashed jeans.
- Pants with zippers at the ankles.
- MORE stonewashed jeans. Really tight ones. With Timberland boots.
- A Champion sweatshirt.
- A Starter jacket.
I'm beginning to think that we were the ones who were out of fashion.
