While dining at my parents' abode the other evening, talk turned to American Idol. Even my dad watches it (and secretly reads Us Weekly, but sshhh). Anyway, my brother said something about the Taylor/Jay Leno similarity (that really can't be denied). Then my astute, pop culture savvy mother says, "No, he's a mix between Jay Leno and George Clooney."

"What?!" I said. "NO WAY." She was adamant. "Look at his eyes," she said.

OMG. She's right.
